Description
A handmade wooden incense holder from the Mascali Collection—a small series of sculptures inspired by the Ionian Coast of Sicily and Japanese rock gardens, designed to engage the senses and elevate your listening space.
Each piece is carved by hand from locally sourced ash timber. The wood is finished using the traditional Japanese Yakisugi charring method—giving it a black color and prominent texture—and is sealed with natural oils. An integrated brass insert is sized for standard, coreless Japanese-style solid incense sticks.

About the material
As a living material, ash timber naturally matures over time when exposed to ambient light and air. The heat, falling ash, and natural resins from your incense will also mark the wood surrounding the metal insert. This process is an intended design element, allowing each pebble to develop its own distinct character alongside your music collection.
